Fueled by a deep commitment to honoring the sacrifices of my ancestors, who dedicated their lives and bodies for my existence, I am enthusiastic about securing a position in New York City. My aim is to delve into the exploration of Asian American and queer people's role in art and culture through the powerful mediums of narrative and visual storytelling.

COMPREHENSIVE STORYTELLING

As part of an ongoing ancestral exploration aimed at understanding my identity as an Asian American, I have authored a book currently seeking a home. Additionally, I pitched a trailer to the Sundance Film Institute and was fortunate enough to receive a scholarship for their Visual Storytelling course. An excerpt from my work, "Ancestral Flow," presented as a series, was recognized by being longlisted for the Kinship anthology through Renard Press.

FILM

Experienced in producing, directing, and editing. I have skillfully crafted compelling narratives in diverse projects, including:

  • pioGaetano: a short documentary about a queer opera singer who also made my weekly coffee.

  • Loduca: a private commission to capture the wisdom of 90 year old Sicilian, Phil Loduca.

  • Trovatelli: a film documenting Krystal Meisel’s search for her ancestral ties in Palermo.

  • Code For America: a series of shorts highlighting the varying aspects of volunteering for CFA.
